Payment: Please expect to pay for services at time of delivery, as you do for most services. We may provide you a Superbill receipt that contains all the appropriate information for submitting directly to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Insurance:  We do not accept most insurance because we are an Out of Network with a lot of providers and many insurance companies don’t pay the appropriate amount for the care that you truly need. This means that your treatments and care are top priority and I work to provide that for you, not for an insurance company. Your health is my primary concern and I have no conflicts of interest when it comes to providing you with the best possible care.

Most of our patients with PPO policies end up being reimbursed 40-60% or more for their expenses, although we can never guarantee that because of the wide range of insurance policies and coverage. I will always write reports or talk with Medical Directors of insurance companies on your behalf if you feel you are not getting reimbursement to which you are entitled.

Scheduling and Cancellations: Please give us at least 24 hour notice to not be charged for the time. With less than 24 hour notice, if we cannot fill the late cancellation, you will be financially responsible for the time. If we can fill the late cancellation, then we will not charge you for a missed appointment.

*Please aim to be on time so that we may give you the treatment you deserve. If you are more than ten minutes late for an appointment, we may be unable to provide appropriate treatment and will need to reschedule. The appointment will be charged as a missed appointment.

Scent Free Office: Please refrain from wearing perfumes and colognes as we have some patients who have allergies and are sensitive to strong smells. Subtle yet distinctive odors are also an important diagnostic clue in Chinese medicine so it’s better for you not to wear scents to your appointments.
